MUSIC VIDEOS

From “Next Hype” to “Bluku Bluku” and “That’s Not Me,” our music video work helped shape the visual identity of UK underground music. Gritty, real, and iconic — we're ready to push it further.

THATS NOT ME

grime veteran Skepta snatched a Mobo award with his That’s Not Me video, directed by the scene’s go-to creatives, Tim & Barry. Looking like it was shot on a shonky smartphone, the clip was the most exciting thing about the lacklustre ceremony, a visceral blast of lo-fi art puncturing all the pasty, polished mundanity

THE PROJECT

We first collaborated with the Mercury Music Prize winning grime artist Skepta In 2004. In the years that have followed we have developed a close personal and professional relationship with Skepta.

NEXT HYPE

NEXT HYPE

NEXT HYPE

No one captured the chaos of "Next Hype" like Tim & Barry — a pure energy video that matches Tempa T’s unfiltered rage bar-for-bar. Filmed with raw urgency and stripped-back intensity, the clip feels like it’s barely holding together, much like the beat itself. It’s a foundational document of grime’s feral golden era.

THE PROJECT

We’ve worked with Tempa T since the early 2000s, long before “Next Hype” became one of grime’s most instantly recognisable war cries. Our relationship with Tempz is rooted in a shared energy — raw, chaotic, and completely unfiltered. Shooting “Next Hype” was less like directing and more like capturing lightning in a bottle. It remains one of our most referenced videos and a defining moment in grime’s visual history.

THE BUG - DIRTY FT FLOWDAN

THE BUG - DIRTY FT FLOWDAN

THE BUG - DIRTY FT FLOWDAN

Brooding, dark, and unapologetically heavy. “Dirty” is a paranoid odyssey through concrete and smoke, where Flowdan’s voice stalks the viewer and The Bug’s production shatters your senses. Tim & Barry lean fully into the dread, crafting a visual atmosphere you can almost choke on.

THE PROJECT

Our collaborations with The Bug and Flowdan have always been rooted in mood — dark, heavy, uncompromising. “Dirty” was no exception. From the first beat, it demanded a visual counterpart that could carry the same sense of weight and menace. Working with The Bug and Flowdan was a process of trusting the tone and allowing the grain, shadow, and claustrophobia to lead the direction. It’s one of our most cinematic music videos and a cornerstone of our work with experimental and underground sound.

BLUKU BLUKU

BLUKU BLUKU

BLUKU BLUKU

D Double E’s iconic ad-libs find a perfect visual match in Tim & Barry’s direction — warped, rowdy, and full of swagger. “Bluku Bluku” plays like a glitchy transmission from another dimension of grime, with frenetic cuts and surreal frames amplifying D Double’s legendary charisma.

THE PROJECT

D Double E has been a close collaborator and long-time friend of ours, and “Bluku Bluku” marked a milestone in bringing his signature sound to life visually. We’ve worked with D Double across countless sessions, and this project gave us space to lean into the playful, off-kilter world that surrounds his music. From studio to screen, it was about reflecting the innovation and humour he brings to the mic.

STREET FIGHTER RIDDIM

STREET FIGHTER RIDDIM

STREET FIGHTER RIDDIM

A grime-meets-arcade fever dream. Tim & Barry’s visuals for “Street Fighter Riddim” flip nostalgia on its head — VHS textures, video game chaos, and D Double in pixelated god mode. A perfect audiovisual homage to the culture’s playful, rule-bending roots.

THE PROJECT

D Double E’s “Street Fighter Riddim” was the perfect match for our visual style — a fusion of nostalgia, energy, and unmistakable grime bravado. Having worked with D Double many times before, we knew how to tap into his world and elevate it with just the right amount of glitch, play, and references. The video became a cult favourite, amplifying the character-driven essence of the tune and landing as a standout moment in UK music visuals.
